Trudering-Riem

Trudering-Riem

Trudering-Riem is the 15th district of the Bavarian capital, Munich, where our company Schlüsseldienst Riem also operates. The district is located on the outskirts of Munich, in the easternmost part of Munich. Although it is far from the city center, the Schlüsseldienst Riem is also available here for those who need our services. Since the reorganization in 1992, Trudering and Riem together form the Trudering-Riem district. The oldest written mention of Trudering was found in 772 as Truhtheringa. Trudering was proven to have been inhabited since the Stone Age.

The reason for the relatively early settlement may have been the abundance of water in the area. Shops and supermarkets for daily needs are mainly located on Truderinger Straße. There are not many shops in Trudering outside the main transport axes, daily shopping can usually only be done by car or bus. As Trudering-Riem is predominantly residential, larger contiguous industrial areas can only be found in Moosfeld along the Stahlgruberring and on the edge of the Messestadt Riem.

Trudering-Riem covers an area of  22,45 km² and boasts 74,456 inhabitants, more than 12,000 more than the district had in 2010, and our company, Schlüsseldienst Riem, is available to all 74,456 people if you need our help. The new Messestadt Riem district, with a total of about 5,500 apartments, was built on the site of the former Munich-Riem Airport. These houses were often fitted with outdated locks. To maintain safety, call the Schlüsseldienst Riem if a lock change is required.
